The club will be enforcing the unaccompanied children policy (see below). If your child/children do not meet the requirements of being able to stay at the pool without a guardian, please be sure you or a guardian is with your child who is age 14 and under. Our coaches cannot be considered as guardians while they are coaching.

UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN AT THE POOL
As a friendly reminder, children must be 14 years of age or older in order to be at the pool without a guardian 14 years of age or older. The policy states that if your child is 12 or 13 and has passed the swim test, they are allowed to be at the Pool without a guardian.
STARTING THIS SUMMER the Club will issue glow in the dark rubber bracelets to all children 12 and 13 years of age who pass the swim test and are thus permitted to be at the club on their own. This new method is a safety measure as it will allow the staff and lifeguards to identify the kids who are able to be there on their own. The kids must have the bracelets with them to enter the pool area and they must wear them while they are at the Pool. Children who have been on the swim team for one year or longer will not have to take the swim test but they will still need the bracelet. Bracelets will be issued opening day through June 7th. Please be sure to pick up your child’s bracelet and explain the new requirement to him or her. If you have a child who is 12 or 13 but NOT on the swim team, they will need to take the swim test. All children who are not on the swim team who have previously taken the swim test must be requalified this year only. To arrange for the quick swim test, please stop by the Pool Reception Desk on or after May 15th during regular hours of operation.
Thank you,
